The position is placed within the Insurance Department, which is a staff function within DOF. The Department`s main responsibility is to ensure that the company`s assets are well protected. As DOF is such a diverse company, we manage a very diverse insurance portfolio making your daily role variable and exiting.
In your position as Senior Claims Manager or Senior Contract Manger, you will assist the Group Legal amp; Insurance Director and render support to the Claims and Contract team with the day-to-day business working closely with the different DOF companies and our insurers to ensure an overall smooth insurance process.
You will work with internal and external parties in Norway and abroad.

Who we are
We are a team of five people working with insurance in the DOF-Group forming part of the Tax, Legal and Insurance Department. Within the team, we have different backgrounds and expertise coming from the Insurance, Legal and Shipping industry. This makes us well equipped to best meet the requirements of the diverse range of companies within DOF. Our main tasks are to procure insurance and to manage claims and ultimately to protect the balance sheet of our company, but we also assist with legal and contract issues and work with loss prevention.
