The Educational Equality Institute, an NGO based in Norway committed to educating and thereby empowering disadvantaged girls.

In response to the war in Ukraine, we started the project: Together for Ukraine.

Free educational programs where we, together with our partners, will help 100.000 Ukrainians shape their future through education, upskilling, and employment.

We are looking for a talented and motivated Grant Writer Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in grants management, a passion for education, and a keen attention to detail.

Role Scope

  • Lead and manage a team of grant writers, providing guidance, support, and feedback to maximize their performance and ensure the quality of grant proposals.
  • Write grant proposals and identify opportunities for process improvement within the team.
  • Collaborate with program staff to identify funding gaps and develop fundraising strategies aligned with organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in grant writing and management in the nonprofit sector, with a successful track record of securing grants.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive and clear grant proposals.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Keen attention to detail, with exceptional editing and proofreading skills.
  • Fluent spoken and written English proficiency.
