Job Description
At Vizrt we are looking for a new colleague who can help us take the next step in web-based applications. We are focused on bringing old and new solutions to modern web solutions.
We want to find a senior a developer with a lot of experience and expertise but almost as important is your ability to address issues and involve others to make sure everyone learns and gets better. You will not be set to work on just one product but will be a resource for everyone and will help prioritize what is most important and useful for you to work on.
We are not so concerned with what technologies you have worked with before in web development as we expect that you are able to familiarize yourself with and understand the technologies we use the most. Our new web applications are developed in Typescript and Vue.js, which should be familiar. Other keywords that can be mentioned are CSS, authentication, website optimization and the like. All our teams have their own UX and QA resources, but experience from and interest in these areas is also positive. We think that these points could be a good fit as well:
Requirements
- You have a bachelor's/Master's degree in relevant subject areas
- You have at least 5 years of work experience, probably more.
- You have a solid understanding in web-related areas
- You have Knowledge of object-oriented programming is an advantage, as our team has a strong background in C#.
As mentioned, we also look for personal qualities and we value the ability to acquire new knowledge and to share and teach very highly. Asking for help and helping others when asked is important. Other qualities we would like:
- You are willing to step out of your comfort zone in good interaction and dialogue with others across teams.
- Ability and interest to be a mentor and inspiration to the rest of the team.

- You have an understanding of the commercial side of developing a product.

Senior Fullstack
Vi i Vizrt ser etter en ny kollega som kan hjelpe oss å ta steget videre innen web-baserte applikasjoner. De siste årene har vi jobbet med å få både gamle og nye løsninger over til moderne webapplikasjoner.
Vi ønsker å finne en senior - en utvikler med mye erfaring og kompetanse - men nesten vel så viktig er din evne til å ta tak i problemstillinger og dra med deg andre for å sikre at alle lærer og blir bedre. Du vil ikke være øremerket et spesielt team eller produkt, men være en ressurs for alle og vil selv være med på å prioritere hva som er viktigst og mest nyttig at du jobber med.
Vi er ikke så opptatt av hva og hvilke teknologier du har jobbet med før innen webutvikling da vi regner med at du ganske enkelt setter deg inn i og forstår de teknologiene vi bruker mest. Våre nye webapplikasjoner er utviklet i Typescript og Vue.js, noe som burde være kjent. Andre stikkord som kan nevnes er CSS, autentisering, webside-optimalisering og lignende. Alle våre team har egne UX og QA ressurser men erfaring fra og interesse for disse områdene er også positivt. Vi tenker at disse punktene bør stemme ganske godt:
- Bachelor/Mastergrad i relevante fagområder
- Minst 5 års arbeidserfaring, sannsynligvis mer
- Solid forståelse innen web-relaterte områder
- Kjennskap til objektorientert programmering er en fordel, da vårt team har en sterk bakgrunn i C#.
Som nevnt ser vi også etter personlige egenskaper og der setter vi evnen til å tilegne seg ny kunnskap og å dele/lære vekk veldig høyt. Det å både spørre om hjelp og å hjelpe andre når en blir spurt er viktig. Andre egenskaper vi gjerne vil ha:
- Du er villig til å gå ut av komfortsonen i god samhandling og dialog med andre på tvers av teamene.
- Evne og interesse for å være en mentor og inspirasjon for resten av teamet.
- Du setter pris på høy kvalitet i kode.
