Job Description

Here at Aize, we work hard, and we play hard! That’s why most of us have packed our bags and jetted off to some well-deserved summer adventures. This means that our recruitment processes will run slower than usual or be temporarily paused. But fret not! some of us are still around so don't be surprised if you hear from us in July. We will be back in full swing for hiring starting in August. Until then...
Have a fabulous and cucumber-filled summer

What you tell your friends you do...

"I'm like the ringMaster of chaos, helping teams stay on track and work together smoothly. I make sure everyone follows the best practices, whether it's Scrum or Kanban and help both people and teams become the most Agile versions of themselves!"

What you really will be doing

Facilitate the work within your product team by acting as a servant leader and coach them on how to utilise ceremonies most effectively, so that they can focus on what they do best

Facilitate group development and decision-making within the product teams in Aize, across all stages of group development

Facilitate inter-team collaboration and coach them to utilize other teams within Aize, e.g., enablers, platform, architects, DevOps and stream aligned

Ensure teams utilize a two-week delivery cadence for team learning and improving ways of working, regardless of whether they work with Scrum or Kanban

Help teams adapt to the rapidly changing requirements in a quickly scaling environment

Structure clear frameworks and goals, catering to the mix of Agile Masteries used in Aize

Contribute to the Aize Agile community of practice and help shape the Agile Mastery within

Mentor Scrum Masters who are not in the role full time, to develop their competency

How you will be doing this

  • Coach your assigned team to adopt Agile Masteries; Scrum/Kanban, manage team performance and be available as someone that team members can come to with concerns and queries
  • Be a role model for the Agile mindset and Agile ways of working within Aize
  • Evangelise concepts from the Scrum Guide, Team Topologies and the Aize ways of working across the organisation
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies

  • Create an environment for continuous learning and improvement

Where you will be doing this

You will be based in Oslo, Norway as we continue to build our teams but since we follow a hybrid working model, feel free to combine work + vacation into a workstation! Nestle in one of our cabins by ski centers like Gaustablikk, Hafjell ++, relax on a balcony with an ocean view or even visit family and friends around the world (and make sure to take some days off to spend quality time with the fam!) while carrying on your work. While we encourage flexibility in your preferred work style, it is important to harmonize amp; integrate that with the needs of your team and colleagues while maintaining your base in Oslo.

Team

Join the Agile team of 6 Scrum Masters and Agile coaches. This team is the core of Agile Masteries in Aize, planning how to increase Agile competency and, most importantly, looking at ways to help all 17 teams reach their full potential. In the community of practice, you will have a chance to coach and mentor Scrum Masters and Product Managers who are not part of the primary team as they combine their Agile roles with other duties (eg. being a combination developer and Scrum Master).

Who we think you are

  • You have worked as a professional Scrum Master or an Agile Coach for around 2-3 years and have a wider background in tech
  • You have experience in implementing Scrum according to the Scrum Guide
  • Ideally, you also know your way around Kanban

  • You thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment such as a quickly scaling start-up

We offer:

  • Money
  • A hybrid work set-up
