Aker Carbon Capture’ project portfolio ranges from concept studies to large EPC (engineering, procurement and construction). We have now more than a dozen ongoing projects in various phases of development and we are ready for our biggest challenge yet: delivering the carbon capture plant at the Norcem cement plant in Brevik, Norway. This will be the world's first CO2-capture facility at a cement plant.

Are you an experienced and dedicated Mechanical Completion Manager, with a strong passion for making a difference in the world and who believe that technology is part of the solution to solve climate change? This is a hired-in role starting with one-year initial contract with potential for extension.

Aker Carbon Capture is experiencing a high demand for our services and need to strengthen our capabilities in the area of executing studies and projects. We are now looking to strengthen our team even further.

As a Mechanical Completion Manager you will:

- Lead the development of our MC and preservation methodology, execution principles, systems and tools

- Be owner of our construction and completion management system

- Be responsible for implementation and execution of MC and preservation in our deliveries

- Contribute to the development and standardisation of our CCUS products and deliveries

You have:

- Bachelor's degree with minimum 10 years’ experience from mechanical completion in projects

- Proven record from large, multidisciplined, international projects

- Multidisciplinary understanding with analytic mind and strong communication skills

- Experience from land-based industry

You are:

- Self-driven and motivated, with passion to environmental projects

- Flexible regarding work tasks and work location

- Systematic

- Fluent in written and spoken English
