Are you our new Maintenance System Engineer?
We are looking for another member to join our Technical Team: a working environment consisting of highly educated, skilled, positive, innovative, and enthusiastic employees. The Maintenance Management System (MMS) team is a technical support function to the DOF fleet, with a main responsibility to administer the maintenance system (TM Master) used by all vessel and subsea assets in the DOF Group. The role is a 12-month temporary position with the possibility of permanent employment.
Key responsibilities will include
- Improve the maintenance database for assets in close cooperation with other technical departments
- Actively contribute to standardize and continuously improve the maintenance process
- Perform maintenance analysis for optimizing maintenance routines and delivery of performance reports
- Technical support to assets and within the organization
- Participate and take lead in global improvements projects
- Participate in audits and training in use of the maintenance management system, including MMS reviews onboard
- Daily support and solving assigned tasks in MMS service desk tool
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree within Maritime studies (Marine/ Machinery/ Navigation) or background as Seafarer
- At least 2 years of experience using maintenance system
- Interest in system development and databases
- Structured and self-going
- Service-minded and result oriented team player with a positive, proactive attitude
- Good written and oral communication skills, both in Norwegian and English
