Duties and Role:
- Ensures that the Customers' Information and Communications Technology (ICT) support requirements of the JWC's Programme of Work (PoW) are well captured, analysed, coordinated, planned, provisioned and monitored;
- Provides coordinated ICT Project Management for funded local projects, and local coordination of Agency projects as agreed in internal Agency agreements;
- Coordinates local exercise support and participates in exercise planning/coordination events to capture and monitor customer requirements in support of both Military Training and Exercise Programme (MTEP) and local customer-driven training events;
- Leads internal planning and coordination meetings for assigned events and activities;
- Coordinates activities with external entities on issues concerning interaction and interoperability between different sub-systems;
- Contributes to CSU-level planning (Crisis Management, Business Continuity Planning / Disaster Recovery Planning, Continual Improvement [Service Improvement Plans], etc.);
- Contributes to technical, cost and workforce assessments and technical proposals/solutions against customer requirements for execution of local small-value projects;
- Supports Continual Improvement, Service Delivery processes and procedures;
- Updates and de-conflicts resource and scheduling issues for activities and program of work (PoW) calendars;
- Represents the CSU at working groups, conferences, meetings and seminars;
- Keeps Section Head and CSU Management informed in all areas regarding exercise and operations support
Requirements
Skill, Knowledge amp; Experience:
- The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance
- Background and experience in analysis and handling of new and unprecedented operational requirements and their transition into standardized, effective and efficient technical solutions.
- Project management experience.
- Extensive Knowledge of NATO Exercise Planning and exercise ICT delivery planning.
- Experience in supervising and managing teams.
- Knowledge of NATO responsibilities and organization, including ACO and ACT.
