We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fundraising Specialist to join our team. As a Fundraising Specialist, you will play a crucial role in securing funding for our initiatives and programs, ensuring the continued growth and success of our organization. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional who is passionate about making a positive impact in the nonprofit sector.
Role Scope
- Research and identify potential funding opportunities, providing recommendations to senior management.
- Develop and implement fundraising strategies and campaigns to meet organizational goals.
- Cultivate relationships with individual donors, corporate sponsors, and grant-making organizations.
- Collaborate with the Grant Writing team.
- Oversee the planning and execution of fundraising events, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external partners
- Manage donor databases and ensure accurate and timely donor communications
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of fundraising initiatives, making adjustments as necessary
Requirements
- Experience in fundraising or development for nonprofit organizations.
- Deep understanding of the nonprofit sector and grant-making processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling fundraising materials.
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organized, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others in a multicultural team.
- Good level of spoken/written English.
