Location: Norway, work from home

Pay Rate: 22EUR per hour

Contract: 12 month contract with potential to extend, 37.5 hours per week

The Role:

Do you have teaching experience in Norway and a vision for supporting teaching and learning across the country? We’re looking for an ambitious and proactive person to join the entrepreneurial teams which comprise Twinkl’s core customer segments. You will be responsible for supporting the ongoing development and growth of our Norwegian community.

You'll be starting the Norway based Twinkl team with additional support from leaders at Twinkl HQ in the U.K. You’ll need to take a rapid iterative approach, employing different marketing and business development techniques to get the message out to the community.

You'll be a key player within the international team, making connections between our product and the community, and responsible for user growth within the customer segment in Norway.

You will be commercially-minded and comfortable making decisions on where to pursue opportunities and showcase our product. You will be responsible for weekly growth reporting in line with business expectations. This is a very varied role that involves both proactive strategic planning and reactive work as you pivot and respond to the demands of your growing market.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Build a thriving social media community for Primary, Secondary and ECE educators, and hit specific growth and engagement targets for that community each month.
  • Increase revenue and hit specific growth targets.
  • Increase new customers and hit specific growth targets.

A typical week could involve any of the following:

  • Show tenacity and drive when going above and beyond to reach new customers and build your segments.
  • Sales and marketing to spread the word to new customers who we can help and support.
  • Manage social media activity for your segments to make sure the right messages reach our customers at the right time.
  • Digital optimization to look at the overall user experience of the area of the Twinkl website and work with the Country Manager, Production, and web and design teams to continuously improve the UX for your specific segments.
  • Business management and strategy to put plans in place to help achieve ambitious growth targets for your segments. Work with professionals across the business to understand what’s working and how we can improve.

Requirements

To succeed in the role, you will have one or a combination of the following:

  • Thorough knowledge of the Norway market, and of our customers.
  • Experience within an Norwegian Primary School education setting
  • A strong entrepreneurial mindset and a propensity for action.
  • Sound decision-making skills and diligent in seizing new opportunities.
  • Understands what good prioritisation is, and values output and results.
  • Commercially astute and a strategic thinker who is comfortable taking calculated risks and being accountable for successes and failures.
  • Ability to communicate a shared vision and motivate individuals and a team.
  • Methodical, highly organised, accurate and execution focused
  • Up-to-date tech skills and social media savviness.
