Aker Carbon Captureis a leading carbon capture technology company that serves a range of carbon-emitting industries including cement, blue hydrogen, bio/waste-to-energy, and gas-to-power among others. Our portfolio of projects is mitigating the environmental cost of industrial activity for a cleaner, more sustainable future. As a Product Manager, you will have the opportunity to work on many of our ongoing projects, from research and innovation, including pilot plant testing, to concept studies and to large EPC projects, both in Europe and in the United States. Today, we are delivering seven carbon capture units in Europe, with an accumulated capture capacity of 1 million tonnes of CO2. In Denmark, we are delivering five Just Catch 100 units to Ørsted, in the Netherlands one Just Catch 100 unit to Twence, and in Norway one Big Catch unit to Heidelberg Materials.

The Role:

As a Product Manager in Aker Carbon Capture, you will: 

  • Be responsible for developing a Business Case for product development.
  • Propagate a product mindset in all ACC teams.
  • Identify and actively engage with internal and external stakeholders for lifecycle management of the product.
  • Ensure delivery of products through projects and support their use during their lifecycle.
  • Provide support for and actively engage with customers to drive sale of products.
  • Assist studies, tenders and projects in correct use of the products and in management of change.
  • Ensure that the products meet the corporate sustainability goals.
  • Ensure that risks and opportunities are adequately addressed throughout the lifecycle of the product with a focus on HSSE, technical safety, lifecycle cost and sustainability.
  • Ensure quality and timely delivery of all documentation for a product for use in marketing, sales, and studies, and in execution, operation and maintenance projects.

As an experienced candidate, you have:

Good knowledge and competence within Product Management.

Excellent technical and analytical skills, with commercial mindset.

Excellent understanding of the product lifecycle; from product innovation, through development, project execution and aftermarket.

Excellent language skills in business English and a Scandinavian language

Operational experience within Product Management

Minimum 10 years relevant experience

Experience in developing and managing products in dialogue with clients, partners,

contractors, and other stakeholders

Relevant Master’s degree or relevant experience

You are:

Good communication and co-operation skills

Solution and delivery orientated.
