Your role
We are quite a few people that work together to keep Kahoot! secure and awesome in various parts of the organization in Europe and the US! This hands-on role requires working closely with developers, internal IT, legal and business units to maintain and develop a risk/security/compliance framework; designing, planning, implementing, testing and auditing compliance requirements to ensure consistent adherence with regulating entity standards.
You will play a crucial role in Kahoot!s continued focus on information security, to ensure cyber threats are minimized, addressed, and handled. The position will be responsible for Kahoot!’s compliance with rules and regulations, through robust monitoring structures that are continuously tested and updated.
The position will report to the Director of Security based in Oslo.
Requirements
- Masters/Bachelors degree in areas such as informatics, cyber security or cybernetics.
- Fluency in English
- 3+ years of experience within one or more of the following:
- Security architecture and design
- Software development
- General IT security
- Privacy e.g. GDPR
- Cloud security
- Ethical hacking
- Security certification standards e.g. ISO 27000 series
- Risk analysis and management
- Cyber security certifications like CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CEH or CCSK is an advantage
