The Educational Equality Institute, an NGO based in Norway committed to educating and thereby empowering disadvantaged girls.

In response to the war in Ukraine, we started the project: Together for Ukraine.

Free educational programs where we, together with our partners, will help 100.000 Ukrainians shape their future through education, upskilling, and employment.

We are looking for a volunteer LMS Specialist who will be a member of the Learning Management System (LMS) team.

Role Scope

  • Maintain the self-study course "itsLearning for Teachers" and support its ongoing improvement.
  • Conduct live training sessions for new teachers as part of their onboarding.
  • Conduct ongoing consultation sessions with teachers via Kintell.
  • Review courses and provide feedback on the functionality being used.
  • Maintain related documentation.

Requirements

  • Experience and knowledge of learning management systems and educational technology (preferably 6 months).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively conduct training and consultation sessions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to provide feedback on courses and maintain related documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to maintain and improve the self-study course.
  • Detail-oriented and able to identify and troubleshoot issues with the self-study course and technology.
  • Knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theories to develop effective training materials.
  • Experience in delivering engaging and informative training sessions, with the ability to tailor training to meet the needs of different learners.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
