Job Description
ABAX is looking for a Full-stack Software Engineer to strengthen their Core Product team for map solutions, driving behavior and geofencing. As a Full-stack Software Engineer in ABAX, you will grow into a leading role in the further development of the products within a full stack team. You will work in a cross functional, international team of highly skilled professionals from within our HQ in Larvik, Norway as well as with ABAX’ external development partners. By cooperating closely with the Product Owner and team Business Analyst, you will make sure you understand the vision of the product, the clients and the market needs. Furthermore, you will work with your very own Team Lead, who will help you with your personal and professional development using ABAX’ internal system for personal/professional development. Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as C# developer with .NET Core as a target
- Familiarity and/or practical experience (preferred) with BDD, TDD, CQRS, Event Sourcing and especially DDD
- Good experience working with distributed software architecture and messaging technologies like MQTT, AMQP, MassTransit and RabbitMQ
- Strong knowledge of HTTP and how to work with HTTP-based API’s, including REST based ones
- Practical experience with a wide range of storage technologies from EventStore and MongoDB to SQL Server and PostgreSQL
- DevOps mindset capable of handling automation and build maintenance aiming for continuous delivery and deployment using Docker, GitLab and Kubernetes in the cloud
- Familiarity and/or practical experience with frontend technologies like Vue, TypeScript, Angular and React is a plus
- Knowledge of and experience with Git/GitLab
- Experience working in an agile development environment with Kanban and/or Scrum
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Responsibilities:
- Implement new product requirements and make sure they fit into the existing software design or propose necessary changes to ensure the compatibility
- Work closely together with Product Owners in finding the most useful solution for ABAX customers and market needs
- Keep the solutions lightweight and cloud-ready for SaaS offerings, in close cooperation with ABAX's Chief Architect
- Communicating and coordinating with other teams whose solutions you need to integrate into the products
