About the team
The Data Fusion Platform team is responsible for developing Cognite Data Fusion as a robust and scalable platform for industrial data science and applications. To build the best possible product we believe in autonomous teams with developers, designers and product managers working closely together. We use the latest technologies and work closely with end users to iterate quickly towards better product experiences.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop Cognite Data Fusion - a robust, state of the art SaaS for industrial data
- Design and implement delightful APIs that enables internal and external developers to build awesome machine learning and visualization applications on top of Cognite Data Fusion
- Work with distributed open-source software such as Kubernetes, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and similar to squeeze out every ounce of performance
- Help shape the culture and methodology of a rapidly growing company
About you:
- You enjoy making things happen and accepting responsibility for results. You don’t just write code; you engineer software.
- You produce fresh and imaginative ideas and solutions, break away from tradition.
- You are open minded, and cooperate well with others; share knowledge, experience and information; support others in the pursuit of team goals.
- You have 5+ years of full-time engineering experience in one of the following programming languages: C#, Java, Python, Scala, Rust or Kotlin. Experience with multiple is a plus.
- You have experience with cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, Docker and other related technologies
- You have a bachelor's degree or more in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar, or equivalent experience.
