Job Description
DOF Subsea Norway AS is looking for a highly motivated candidate for a position as Legal Advisor / Contract Specialist in our team in Norway. As Legal Advisor /Contract Specialist you will work within the offshore energy and subsea projects market.
The role will be a part of the finance team as well as being a part of the Global Legal, Tax and Insurance Function in the Group.
Main work tasks
- Draft and advise on a variety of contracts with customers
- Contractual and legal support to the different teams related to contract generation
- Review, qualify and negotiate contractual terms and conditions
- Review of insurance requirements and placing of relevant insurances in cooperation with the Group`s Legal and Insurance Manager
- Ensure that the organization's internal contract documents are accurate and well maintained
Requirements
- Master of Laws from Norway
- A minimum of 5 years experience from the energy industry, preferably within the offshore subsea market related to contract management
- Strong legal knowledge and understanding of contract law
- Possesses superior negotiations skills combined with commercial understanding
- Analytical and structured, with the ability to work independently and within short deadlines
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (Norwegian and English language)
- Comfortable working as part of a multidimensional team
