Our customer’s needs are unique and complex. We believe the strongest end-to-end solutions require collaboration, an ecosystem of expert partners, all connected by Cognite Data Fusion (CDF). With authorized access to clean, contextualized data through CDF, our partners can quickly build or connect off-the-shelf applications. The holder of this role will be responsible for Cognite’s application partner ecosystem strategy and execution, with focus on industry partners in our relevant verticals. Currently the main verticals are Oil amp; gas, Power amp; Utilities and Manufacturing.
The Partner Development Director is expected to have the drive to develop this area, be self motivated, take responsibility, and first and foremost be passionate about growing the number of partners enabling existing, or building new applications on top of CDF. The role will in addition drive internal Cognite collaboration with other departments to succeed with this task.
This is an individual contributor role, but may grow into a people manager role as the team grows.
Tasks amp; responsibilities include:
- Develop a scalable application partner strategy for Independent Software Vendors and other industry partners.
- Develop a framework for Cognite’s application partner model.
- Be an extended part of the Partner team in Cognite, which has co-sell focus.
- Participate and drive meetings with Partners and vendors.
- Engage with our product management team to align partner strategy with product strategy.
- Coordinate with technical resources for evaluations of technical compatibility with CDF Architecture, and identify gaps to align roadmaps.
- Coordinate with domain experts to align partner offerings with customer needs in our verticals.
- Coordinate with Customer Success Managers when evaluating needs and expectations of current customers, and identify partner opportunities for upsell or integration with CDF as a data foundation.
Requirements
- Preferred relevant industry experience within asset heavy technology industry.
- Application development knowledge.
- Ability to collaborate and drive goals and strategy for Industry Application partners.
- Experience in driving business outcomes, and ability to work across multiple partners and organizations.
- Proven ability to engage and influence a broad set of stakeholders across organisations and disciplines.
- Ability to deal with a fast paced, high-growth working environment.
- Shows persistence and adaptability when faced with unexpected challenges.
- Bachelor and/or Master degree or equivalent from top-tier academic institutions.
Success criteria (what is the role measured on):
- Main goal is to succeed with Cognite’s application partner strategy. This is measured by having the right partnerships and scaling the number of applications in the market that integrates with Cognite Data Fusion.
- Execute both to enable technical integration and co-sell.
- Happy stakeholders with strategic partners.
