The award-winning design team at Cognite currently counts 15 designers, and we are looking to expand the team further. The design team is involved in everything from envisioning future industrial realities, laying product strategies, conceptualising new product ideas to fine-tuning existing digital products.
As part of the design leadership team at Cognite, you will be the Lead Designer within a product area, setting direction and coordinating design work within the department. Youll work closely with the designers in the department, supporting them in their day-to-day product design work and you will guide cross-team efforts. Design works closely with product management and tech, so you will also collaborate tightly with the Engineering manager and Lead product manager on setting product vision and continuous guidance of the product teams. You will balance design leadership tasks with in-depth design doing; spending time understanding what really makes an industrial user tick, designing outstanding user experiences and observing first hand how they react to your carefully crafted designs.
