Software Content Writer

At Nixa.io, we are looking for a freelancer to work with us for approximately 10 hours per week on an ongoing basis to produce software tech-specific content. This content brainiac will ideally help us on our journey to build a tech hub on our website and serve the developer community.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who has:

• Coding and/or programming knowledge to be able to write news, blog posts, and op-eds on various technologies
• Experience writing about technology, software, and programming
• Experience writing content for a SaaS company
• Experience with SEO best practices and keyword research
• Understanding for startup environments and can thus produce fast but prioritize quality and research
• Stays up to date with latest developments and innovation in software, programming languages, trends, etc.
• English as mother tongue or ESL at C1

Bonus points:

• Has access to SEO tool(s), especially for keyword research
• Experience with the tech recruitment industry
• Educational background or some courses that makes the person trustworthy as a technical writer
• Has a network that can be utilized to interview people, distribute content, get quotes, etc.

• Can produce video content
