The CBO will lead our teams focusing on business development and corporate development. The successful candidate is a thought and people leader, who will partner closely with our CEO, Executive Team and Board to tackle the highest priority strategic programs for the organization.The Business Development team is focused on identifying, negotiating and developing global partnerships that will help to accelerate our global objectives.
The Corporate Development and Investor Relations team serves the Executive Team facilitating the evaluation, development and implementation of growth strategies. This team develops and maintains relationships with a broad investor base as well as partners with internal teams at Lime to share the narrative around our financial performance, strategic landscape and company strategy.What You'll Do- Serve as a member of senior leadership team in the Company, reporting to the CEO
- Work closely with the CEO and members of the leadership team and Board of Directors to define Limes corporate vision and strategy for long range planning, including corporate development and partnering strategy
- Assume full management responsibility for the company’s deal making; including Mamp;A, fundraising efforts (both private and public)
- Provide leadership and execute a deal strategy that will allow the company to build value.
- Provide guidance to the company’s growing pipeline
- Work with key stakeholders in overall strategy formulation, ensuring that departmental strategies are aligned in order to safeguard against conflict of interests as well as guarantee a unified front in the business’s direction
- Negotiate significant company contracts, deals and financing
- Support IR/PR activities and fundraising activities
About You- Relevant Bachelors degree and MBA preferred
- 15+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, strategy consulting, and/or operating experience in a corporate development role within private and public companies
- Proven track record in executing all aspects of transactions including extensive experience in equity fundraising (both public amp; private), Mamp;A, joint ventures, debt capital markets etc . Track record should include all elements of a deal, from developing strategy, identifying targets, executing, and assisting in the integration
- Experience leading a global team across multi disciplines
- Excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities; with the ability to communicate to senior leaders, boards and external business partners
- Strong financial and business acumen, including a firm grasp of the metrics and financial modeling used by investment professionals to inform valuation
- Highly entrepreneurial and comfortable working in a fast changing and at times ambiguous environment
- High-energy, company first, positive attitude: Must be motivated to work hard in a fast-paced environment
