Humaans are on a mission to make HR software delightful. Work has changed fundamentally over the last couple of years and months and Humaans are building tools to help companies embrace these changes and thrive. Through their SaaS platform, they are offering the fastest way to onboard and manage your staff. It turns complex processes such as employee onboarding, offboarding, and compensation management into simple workflows by integrating with other point solutions such as Gsuite, Slack, DocuSign, and Greenhouse.
Humaans is a startup with big ambitions, and last year they raised a $5 million seed round from lead investors to get going. Today they have investors such as Y combinator, Frontline Ventures, Moonfire and Next Play Ventures onboard the team, in addition to individual investors from companies such as Stripe, Linkedin, Figma, Notion, Adobe and Workday.
Humaans' journey is only at the beginning. You will join Humaans as one of the early members of the team and help build the Engineering function. You will be able to work closely with the founders Giovanni and Karolis, learn directly from their customers, and get to work on a wide range of challenges such as developing our real-time API infrastructure and turning a wide range of complex requirements into the simplest possible UI flows, all to make employee management fast and efficient.
Humaans' tech stack today consists of React.js, Node.js, Postgres, and Redis. They use GitHub for code and continuous integration to deploy to Kubernetes on Google Cloud Platform. They have a public REST API and our browser client uses a real-time WebSocket API. They obsess over the details and quality of the user-facing features and their implementation. Yet Humaans move fast by creating focus and leveraging high-quality foundations. They love using JavaScript, React and Node, but are open to switching to more productive environments. Clojure, ReScript, and OCaml are some of the languages that gets them excited.
