Job Description

Be Your Best is an exciting start-up developing and selling a unique 3D simulation software/SaaS platform for cognitive and mental performance and training of football players, the world largest sports market with 285 million licensed players globally. The product is cross-platform with VR and laptop versions ready, making it accessible for the entire market. The goal is to improve footballer's real performance on the field.

The concept is based on scientific research conducted by globally recognized Be Your Best co-founder and Professor, Geir Jordet (PhD sports psychology). Odd Skarheim, also founder of Attensi (www.attensi.com) the global leader in 3D gamified simulation training for large corporations, is the Be Your Best founder and chairman of the company. Be Your Best is looking at significant global scaling of our business, and is therefore looking for a sales and revenue driven VP Growth with the capability and drive to bring our company to the next level.

As VP Growth your responsibility is to create new and grow current revenue streams on a global scale. Hereunder, making sure that the company and the product are visible, available and value-creating for customers across the globe. This requires you to steer our marketing and sales activities as well as ensuring streamlined customer channels, ultimately attaining and retaining customers. We are looking for an individual with a commercial and analytical mindset, as well as experience in terms of data-driven and customer-centric product development and how to build a global B2C sales model. Responsibilities:

  • Recruit thousand-10 thousand-100 thousand recurring paying users and active sales and business development/build partnerships towards individuals, clubs and associations
  • Build and develop the company’s strategic roadmap together with the management team
  • Build and manage a high-performing team to create and implement strategic sales and marketing initiatives to drive growth
  • Implement sales and marketing initiatives in line with overall business objectives striking a balance between short-term targets and long-term strategic brand building activities
  • Further develop and build a sustainable digital commercial model
  • Utilize data and analytics for decision making and measuring marketing effectiveness, as well as customer behaviour to improve product market fit
  • Manage the marketing budget to drive sustainable bottom-line growth


Who we are looking for:

  • International experience and proven track record with growth and scaling
  • Strong digital marketing, commercial pricing and business modeling skills
  • Experience with digital products, online consumer sales and optimizing B2C sales model (preferably subscription based)
  • Good knowledge of Campaign Management Tools and Analytics Tools
  • Strong analytical skills and comfortable dealing with numerical data
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments


Nice to have

  • Passion for football and technology


Requirements

  • Higher education within Marketing, Business Administration or related field
  • Substantial relevant experience (growth hacking, B2C subscription growth, commercial execution)
