Job Description

This position is to replace for a maternity leave from Oct 1st 2021 to Dec 2022.

Here is what your day-to-day in this role will look like:
  • Work closely with a team of developers in Sandnes, and in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia).
  • Synch with our architects, designers, data specialists, quality analysts from UK and Canada.
  • Help build and pilot the design of a new generation of products
  • Participate in the Agile development cycle by deploying at high frequency
  • Become an expert in the intricacies of the maritime world
  • Develop internationally used products that scale quickly
With the technologies that you will use day by day:
  • Java application server and business logic development
  • Web development (html, javascript, css, xslt)
  • SQL Relational database
  • .NET development
  • We use Eclipse, Jira, Visual Studio, SVN, Jenkins and many more.
  • Elements in the product also include Lucene, WebDAV, responsive design, SSO, Spring, Groovy, Jasper Reports and many more
  • CI/CD with Azure DevOps and Git

Product features we develop:

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience with the technology we use in developing web solutions
  • Can live up to high standards for product stability, performance, code quality and up-time
  • Proactive and seeking ways we can improve
  • Good communication skills in both English and Norwegian
  • Must be able to work in Sandnes (Norway) in an international company with customers and colleagues all around the world. Optional location is Oslo (Norway)
