Xeneta is headquartered in Oslo, and we have been continuing our growth with offices in Germany (Hamburg) and the US.
As part of our Technology team, you will be responsible for developing our air and ocean freight intelligence products, as well as internal data acquisition tools.
- You will work on a web application developed upon React, fetching pricing information from a Python API in front of PostgreSQL
- You will work closely with our Product teams to define, implement, and refine features and functionality
- You will contribute to our design system by defining reusable React components
- You will be picking the best tools for the job and educating your peers on their benefits
- You are a team player, you enjoy learning and improving the team around you and yourself
- You have 2-4 years of experience in developing web applications
- You have understanding of modern web technologies and APIs
- You care about quality and you know what it means to ship high quality code
- You are excited to work with many of the different parts that define a modern web application
- You're located (or willing to relocate) near Oslo (Norway) or Hamburg (Germany)

Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with JavaScript, React and Webpack
- Experience delivering frontend solutions that can be tested with Selenium and similar tools
- Fluency in English; oral and written
If you are not already authorized to work in Norway, a Bachelor or a Master in a relevant field is necessary.
Nice to have
- Relevant higher education
- Experience with D3 or similar data visualisation libraries
- Experience creating visually impressive products with a great eye for detail
- Experience building web APIs using Python and PostgreSQL
