Job Description

At the Forefront of The Next Wave in FinTech

At Tillit, we’re passionate about building software that helps B2B Merchants sell more, faster, and more efficiently. We partner with small and large businesses to transform how they receive payments from their customers. Our software is used to make the checkout process frictionless - implementing for the first time true one-click purchasing for businesses selling to other businesses. Tillit's software helps to increase sales conversion, gets Merchants paid quickly, reliably, and with no credit risk, and frees up cash so they can concentrate on what they do best: providing their customers with world-class goods and services.

Location:

We are presently building our main talent hubs in Oslo and London with a plan to expand to key European locations over the next 12 months. If you aren't based in either London or Oslo but are keen to explore the role further, we'd love to hear from you Tillit is a remote-friendly company, with a flexible working policy accommodating onsite and remote teams, with the expectation that travel to our hubs will be required when needed.

The Role

"If he [Thomas Edison] had a needle to find in a haystack, he would not stop to reason where it was most likely to be but would proceed at once with the feverish diligence of a bee, to examine straw after straw until he found the object of his search . Just a little theory and calculation would have saved him ninety percent of his labor."

- Nikola Tesla

You're Tillit's Head of marketing. You'll be building our marketing team. The role demands you have skills in strategic planning, leadership, and (naturally) ... marketing.

You've done this before so you already know this but you will be building a top-notch marketing capability at Tillit.

Tillit is pioneering an entirely new category of enterprise software. We know that our customers need us, but many of them won't realise this yet. You'll have to educate them. And the reality is we still have to work out how to best sell this to them. The ideal person for this job will be three parts feverish, diligent bee, and one part cold calculating theoretician.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve
  • Selling Tillit based on a deep understanding of our customer's needs and our solutions.
  • Drive product marketing with end-to-end responsibility not only for lead generation but also for ensuring that our product is scalable and simple enough to use that merchant can sign-up and start using Tillit on their own.
  • Defining what the future of Tillit looks like along with our product team - then sell that vision to our customers.
  • Drive lead generation through a performance marketing lense, including campaign and channel optimization, as well as defining reports and metrics that enable you and the rest of the marketing team to succeed.
  • Be comfortable overseeing and own our brand, possibly with a strong right hand that is an expert in brand building.
  • Account Planning and Quarterly Business Reviews. At least a little bit.
  • Participating in trade shows, conferences, and industry events.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a B2B marketing function (or B2C with a significant emphasis on lead generation) - experience in Payments, E-Commerce, or SaaS would be great.
  • Ideally, experience in product management or product-marketing roles.
  • Must be able to work in fast-paced environments and have excellent multitasking skills.
  • Ability to travel for client meetings and engagements. Don't forget your toothbrush.
  • Demonstrable ability to sell to bigwigs.
  • Know how to challenge the way customers think about their business
  • Win hearts and minds: an ability to provide qualitative and quantitative analysis to customers.
  • Create a strategy for your team that fits within the wider Tillit strategy.
  • You need to have enough technical chops to be able to keep up with Tillit.
  • You'll be out in the field getting feedback from potential and actual customers so we'll need you to work with tech to help define and build the products that help Tillit win.
  • Have the humility to let the best idea win, and nurture an environment where everyone's opinion matters.

Benefits

  • 25 days paid days off per year.
  • Genuine flexibility in how you work - because you're an adult, and it's what you do that matters, not what hours you work.
  • Laptop of choice The equivalent of a 13" Macbook pro.
  • A share options scheme - so that Tillit's success is your success.
  • Other accessories: 27" inch monitor, keyboard, mouse for office, and a 50% subsidy towards the purchase of home office equipment.
  • 5000 kr annual allowance for learning and t
