Product Design Lead

We are looking for a talented Product Design Lead to take on the product design responsibility for our no-code, collaborative web editor. You will be working together with the Product Managers and Developers to shape our product. We are looking for people with drive, curiosity, and the ability to both learn and teach new skills.

• Collaborate with the whole Product team to define and implement upgrades and new features for the overall product experience.
• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
• You will take full ownership of our product design by understanding Vev as a brand as well as the platform and its users.
• Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex design roadblocks.
• Ensuring a collaborative mentality between all parts of the product team.

• You are a still keen to work hands-on but also able to lead a small team of Designers.
• You have excellent communication skills.
• You are able to solve problems creatively and effectively.
• You enjoy sharing your gained knowledge with colleagues.
• You are keen to continuously improve your work and the product design.

Requirements

• Either worked for 3-5 years as in a product/UI/UX design role with a strong portfolio, or
• You are already working as a Design Lead and looking for a change.
• You will get bonus points for bringing experience from a SaaS company.
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-centric interaction.

The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful design, possess superior UI skills and be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and lead a small team of creatives.
