What you will do:

  • Facilitate and close opportunities with large enterprises across multiple verticals with maritime being our primary focus today.
  • Accurately forecast committed business and upside opportunity.
  • Meet and exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue goals on a quarterly basis.
  • Generate short-term results whilst maintaining a long-term perspective to improve overall revenue generation.
  • Facilitate high-quality discovery to identify customer pain points
  • Demonstrate/sell value to key stakeholders within the accounts during complex sales cycles
  • ‘Give to get mindset’ with peers across BDR, CS and AE teams
  • Develop strong and long-term client relationships in your territory.
  • Work with the Sales team to prioritize opportunities and apply appropriate resources
  • Working closely with the BD team to prospect and generate opportunities, especially into net new greenfield accounts.
  • Track all opportunity and customer details including use case, purchase timeframes, next steps, and forecasting in Salesforce
  • Partner with customer success to ensure high satisfaction within your accounts

Requirements

About you

  • 5+ years of experience as a top performer in a closing role ideally at a technology or SaAS company selling into C-Suite and down to Business Leader level.
  • Experience selling into one or more of the following sectors: Maritime, Financial Service and Banking, Professional Services, Logistics, Construction, Property / Real Estate,
  • Consultative by nature, can adapt sales approach on industry/persona of the customer.
  • Commercially driven and keen to find win-win solutions.
  • A get-up-and-go, and go and ‘whatever it takes’ hunger and attitude
  • Experience selling to larger mid-market and enterprise companies
  • Experienced at negotiating 6+ figure deals
  • Experience managing and closing complex sales-cycles using solution selling techniques
  • Outstanding interpersonal, written and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel (once it’s safe to do so)
