Job Description

Aker Tech House 2023

What you tell your friends you do

As a UX Researcher, I dig into the core of what we want to solve and how that can affect and improve how our users work within a complex domain. It’s really all about uncovering that basic human behavior that enables our product to feel intuitive, enjoyable and simple to use. To reach our vision as a company, my research enables our product teams to take decisions they understand and believe in!

What you will really be doing...

Be involved in a rapidly growing design team with a strong voice within the company

Engage with real users working on tough and complex tasks

Lead user research initiatives and create strategic deliverables (e.g., journey maps, storyboards, competitive analyses, and personas)

Evangelize research by sharing user insights with the broader organization and
externally in creative ways to increase empathy

Take an active part in shaping our research community through initiative and
collaboration

Learn new stuff every day, both from your colleagues and from our users.

How will you be doing this

Using your skillset as a researcher and designer, you will engage with the people around you, open doors where needed and dig into the core of the problems we are faced with. You’ll be joining a team of smart, expressive people given the trust, motivation and freedom to do the job you love. Given that we're working with end-users in the Nordic, we do appreciate a high level of Norwegian or Swedish and English skills. You’ll report to our UX Research Lead where you can grow and learn as well as contribute to the rest of the company.

Working alongside the Design and Delivery teams you’ll support the development of our UX Research function, through solid deliveries, collaboration, initiative and good discussions, you will affect and inspire your colleagues, the Aize product and our company to succeed!

What we worked on the last year

We have set a product vision for the future and defined a one product strategy for Aize. Now we are moving into executing on this and are looking for more doers who want to challenge themselves as well as challenge us as a product company.
