This is CoreMarine

The new breed of ocean engineers

CoreMarine is a digital-first construction partner delivering digital technology amp; projects to the biggest sectors in the ocean economy.

We continuously work in the new ocean industries: whether it is delivering clean offshore energy or elegant digital solutions, our sweet spot is where our expertise can optimise and deliver efficient solutions to the new ocean industries.

You will focus on the early-stage offshore wind developments within CoreMarine. You’ll collaborate closely with our Renewables Director in delivering diverse projects to our clients.

The role will include, but not limited to the following:

  • Manage the early-stage technical project development across one or all technical packages as input to clients
  • Developing strategies for project execution in terms of local content strategies and strategic relations with key suppliers.
  • Execute specific technical studies as a part of larger projects
  • Maintain a positive relationship with all project stakeholders clients, suppliers and partners.
  • Manage, develop amp; build the team between Spain, Norway amp; Australia.
  • Identify and chase new opportunities

Requirements

Who Are You

You don’t like the same old, and are pushing for a new challenge in your career. You want ownership in the work you do, and appreciate the support of your fellow colleagues.

Offshore wind is where you play and play well. It’s the future of energy and you know that.

You have experience in the early development phases of OW projects and a background in EPC management, Package and Project Management (WTG, Foundation, Cables, OSS and Tamp;I) or supply chain management during project development.

You are based out of Stavanger, Madrid, Hobart or Melbourne.

On top of this, we would also expect some of the following qualifications:

  • Degree in Engineering, Energy or similar with 5+ years relevant experience
  • Project management experience
  • Experience within the offshore wind industry in general and experience developing amp; optimizing wind farm solutions regarding specific site conditions
  • In-depth understanding of value drivers in offshore wind project, strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to identify the right solutions
  • Experience with supply chain management and local content considerations
  • Global mindset, cultural awareness, and ability to thrive in multinational teams with clients in any part of the world
  • Deep knowledge of Leasing and consenting processes, site characterisation, construction methods, Oamp;M methods, and general offshore wind farm lifecycle
  • Offshore wind farm standards and best practice, with particular focus on early-stage projects.

Brownie points if you have any of the following:

  • Experience with WindPro or similar software
  • An understanding of digital products and their application
  • Commercial and contractual understanding

Not matching all of the above? Don’t worry! We’d love to hear from you anyway, as a great team fit is very important to us.

What do We Offer

Our Scandinavian roots influence our company culture: CoreMariners enjoy a high degree of trust, fun and meaningful work, autonomy and work-life balance. We move fast, we think differently, and we learn from and support each other.

We’re all about digital-first ocean construction, which means we use our in-house CoreDigital suite to plan, optimize and execute the CoreConstruct part: our engineering design, construction, installation and operations.
