Headquartered in Oslo Norway, Rystad Energy is a rapidly growing company represented in more than 30 countries. The EMEA Commercial team is now seeking a dynamic individual to join our Oslo office to further help continue our success.

Rystad Energy is looking for candidates with exceptional sales amp; account management experience within the Energy space. The candidate should also possess strong commercial and negotiation skills, knowledge of the energy market, ability to listen and understand customer needs and excellent networking skills are sought.

The opportunity and responsibilities

As a new member of the team, you will get the opportunity to develop and execute both a product-driven and segment-focused client retention strategy as well as identify and generate new growth opportunities with these clients to fuel the growth of our business. You will also work closely with internal cross-functional teams such as marketing, tech, research, client training and services to drive engagement with your client base.

Responsibilities for this role include retaining amp; upselling Rystad Energy’s research offerings to clients within the Oil amp; Gas, Renewables and Clean Tech Supply Chain sectors. You will also engage with, present amp; pitch to these existing clients and be judged on managing these client accounts to ensure renewal of services as well as growth through additional upselling/cross-selling of offerings.

Experience and Qualifications

  • For this position, we are looking for a candidate with minimum a Bachelor’s Degree with ideally two or more years of B2B Account Management/Sales/Business Development experience within either the Energy industry, Consulting Sector and/or within the Financial Services.
  • Specifically, account management experience selling business or market intelligence services within the Energy industry and/or the Supply Chain sector.
  • Solid network of relationships within the Energy industry and/or within the Supply Chain sector that can be leveraged
  • Ability to engage with individuals across all levels and departments of our Clients, including Senior Management/C-Suite
  • Experience in internal stakeholder management i.e. collaboration with cross-functional teams internally to drive client engagement externally. For example with the Client Success amp; Client Solution teams.
  • CRM Experience
