Are you a passionate backend developer? We are looking for you!
For our client, Carrot, we are looking to expand their integration team with someone who feels at home in a start-up and believes in impacting the company and the world. You will be working with a lot of different integrations, both standard integrations as well as a lot of new ones, as they expand and grow. You will play a key role in the company and work closely with Simen, Head of Integrations. The focus will be on building scalable software and turning good data into sustainable solutions.
You will get the chance to work with modern technologies such as: JS/TS, GraphQL, Node.JS, React, Redis, Kubernetes, and additionally Elastic Search, OAuth and Sentry.
Carrot work agile with two-week sprints in our four teams:
- The web team, Carrot Insights
- The app team
- The backend team
- The integration team

Who is Carrot?
Carrot was established in Bergen in 2017, and in 2021 the company received backing from the growth fund Norselab. They are a start-up with high ambitions to grow internationally over the next few years. Today, Carrot consists of 18 employees located in Bergen and Oslo.

Requirements
The Carrot backend team needs another backend developer and we look for you who are:
- Familiar with connecting/integrating APIs together.
- Experience with backend work and/or interest in architecture.
- Experience or interest in working with Node.js, Javascript/Typescript, GraphQL, Kubernetes, React, Redis, Elasticsearch, OAuth and Sentry.
- Comfortable working with cross-functional teams as well as autonomously.
- Focused on working with best practices and standards.
- Interested in working in a start-up environment.
- Eager to influence development processes and work progressively to reach set goals.
It is also preferred if you are located in Oslo, but we have offices in Bergen too, and care more about your passion than where you work from!

Carrot believes technology can be taught, so if this isn't the tech stack you've most experienced in, don't worry, we will teach you if you have the interest.
